If I wasn't going turbo or 2.5 I would grab me a set of stg 2s and upgraded valve-train to really complete the mix for my 2.0. For the money paid on the TruBendz 3" system w/ magnaflow it is defintely worth it. If you can live with the noise (I've had louder vehicles) I highly recommend it.

Now onto 3" exhaust, 3" exhaust does wonders even for a 2.0 n/a w/ cossie knockoff. I paid 112 (I think) at the Mazda dealership and was impressed with the tires performance on the. When I get my daily driver ST and my ZX3 becomes my weekend project I will definitely be purchasing another tune from Tom as well. 2000 miles later and the Kumhos are fantastic I sold the 2007 to a friend and bought a 2010 MazdaSpeed3 and thew Kumhos stick better, better sidewall, less noise than the Bridgestones and dunlops that are on the MazdaSpeed3s at the dealership.

My tune feels good and I have no issues but yet Tom is still tweaking it until he finds it right. You are literally getting more than what you paid for. it is great to have an honest individual who still gives you classic customer service. Last but not least, besides tuning you also get good advice on what mods are worth it or help with the "what should I do next?" In a sea of slimy tuners (especially one from another domestic compact forum who I will not mention) who offer sketchy customer service, generic canned tunes, questionable hand-helds, etc. If you ever need help adding new items to datalog Tom will gladly remote into your laptop with team viewer and get you going.

The SCT software is very easy to use and get going. Great to have tuning on the fly every time you make changes to your vehicle.
Mazdaspeed 3 best etuner mod#
I have learned the hard way these cars are hyper sensitive to mods (my car was slower with its first exhaust system w/o tune) and require a tune immediately after intake or exhaust mod vs other cars I have had before. The lifetime updates have been a life saver. Just wanted to say Tom has been the most consistent tuner I have ever dealt with. I have a simple D20 w/ bolt-ons (my mods are listed in my profile) build that I have been working on for a while.
